Janice Eileen
Lott-Childers
Jan 18, 1963 — Dec 12, 2021
Janice Eileen Lott-Childers, age 58, was born in Racine, WI on January 18, 1963 to the late Jacob and Ida Mae Lott. She was a 1982 graduate of JI Case High school. Janice served our community as a devoted teacher with headstart. She also worked for the Racine county courthouse, retiring in 1998.
She was baptized in her late teens at Midtown Church of Christ under the late Minister Ralph Moore. With profound faith, Janice was an active member of Midtown Church of Christ, where she was involved in community outreach with enhancing lives of the less fortunate with food and clothing. Among her interests, she loved Gospel Musicals all over the country, Friday nights with her Bid Whist Card Club, bowling with the Pink Ladies, roller skating, darts, softball, going out to eat with family & friends, and "Turning Corners". Above all, Janice was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Janice was a natural born comedian and she loved to do her Facebook lives. She would say "This is your One and Only J Lott coming to you live!" Janice loved to have Game Night and play Monopoly and Phase 10 with her family, even when they cheat. She would always yell at everyone "Clean up my house!" You could not go into the kitchen if you didn't wash your hands. She would always say "You can make a plate, but you cannot take one to-go!" To Janice, everyone was her "Cuzz" and she loved every one like they were her blood. She always have an "Ice Cold Pepsi" in hand and loved her "Groceries". When someone would make her mad she would always say "Don't you make me lose my righteous indignation!" Over the years, it changed to "No weapons formed against me shall prosper!"
Janice took pride in living on "The Wood" for over 21 years. But her real pride and joy was ALL of her grandkids, which she spoiled.
She lives to Cherish in memory her children, Ronnie (LaQuita) Fisher Jr., Kendall (LaDonna) Lott, Brienna Taylor; Her grandchildren Ronniesha "Little J", Alani, Ryleah, Akari, Elijah, Keneddie, Alanna, Reanna, SirRoc, Nia, Amira, and Britain; God sons Brandon, James, and Raymond; Siblings Lula Garrett, Steve (Martha) Lott, Gregory Lott, Valeria (Henry) Conner, Willie Lott, Renee Lee, Tammy Gandy, Tonette Miller, Perry Lott, Tiffany (Damieon) Stevenson; Step Mother Betty Lott; Step siblings Sandra (Dwight) Pearson, Rafford (Kaye) Jones, and Enda Robbins; Favorite cousins Solomon Emmanuel and Beth Love; Special Friends Diane Love, Patrica Price, and Victoria Jones; Her Beloved Laura Johnson; Host of nieces, nephews, and cousins too numerous to mention by name.
