Racine – Janice Ruth (nee: Pinnow) Zinke, age 72, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, at her home on Friday, January 8, 2016.
Janice was born in Racine on March 22, 1943 to the late Karl and Hildur (nee: Storheim) Pinnow. Janice enjoyed tending to her yard & flowers; dining out – especially for breakfast with an occasional Bloody Mary; and keeping her mind & body healthy with Yoga. Above all, Janice loved and cherished being in the surroundings of her entire family.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Terri & Greg Ailes, and their children – Christy, Zach & Jacob; daughter, Kerri Hanson, and her children – Scottie, Dylan, Hunter & Karlee; former son-in-law, Scott Hanson; brother, David Pinnow; sister, Barb (Steve) Jensen; sisters-in-law (more like friends), Lorraine Zinke and Bev Wood; brother-in-law, Bob Rashleger; nieces and nephews, Randy (Terri) Rashleger, Bobby (Carolyn) Rashleger, Kathy (Steve) Pfund, Connie (Steve) Olsen, Susie (Nick) Fesko, Will McWhorter, Amy (Fritz) Obernberger, Debbie Jensen, Steve Jensen, Aaron Pinnow and Ben Pinnow; good friends, Lori and Carrie; and many, many more loved ones – too numerous to mention by name.
