Jason Curtis

Dec 9, 1984 – Apr 18, 2016

Kenosha –Jason D. Curtis, age 31, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, April 18, 2016.

Jason was born in Portsmouth, VA on December 9, 1984 to Jeffrey and Jackie (nee: Underwood) Curtis. He attended Mary D. Bradford and graduated from Walter Reuther Central High School in Kenosha. Jason was a talented chef who had cooked at Pazzo’s, Sazzy B’s and The Garage. He was also currently working as a locksmith at Aro Lock & Door in Kenosha.

Jason was an extreme Chicago Cubs, Bears & Blackhawks fan. He also enjoyed fishing, going to the family cabin in Northern Wisconsin, comedy movies and reading. Jason adored his grandparents, loved hanging out with his brothers and had an infectious smile that radiated with his trademark dimple.

Surviving are his mom & dad, Jeff and Jackie Curtis; grandfather, Don Underwood; brothers, Joshua (Kate), Jeremiah (Nicole) and Jacob (Dani) Curtis; nieces & nephews, Jace, Logan, Adysson, Emmett and Kenzie; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends – too numerous to mention all by name.

Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sue Underwood, Dallas & Shirley Hohbein.

A memorial service celebrating Jason’s life will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon. In memory of Jason, everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite Cubs, Bears or Blackhawks clothing to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
