Racine – Jay Curtis Rosenke, 56, passed away unexpectedly on May 9, 2018.  He was born in Racine on March 27, 1962, son of the late Erick and Rosemary (Nee: Svendsen) Rosenke.

Jay was the owner/operator of J&R Decorating.  He could fix just about anything.  Jay was a phenomenal artist with his work and had a special passion for wood.  He loved to be outdoors whether it be a bonfire or just cooking on the grill which was his specialty.

Jay is survived by his daughter, Misty (Richard Escamilla) Rosenke; grandchildren, Kadrien J. Pegues-Rosenke, Kamren J. Escamilla; sister, Erica Rosenke; niece, Katelyn Mowry; nephews, Jaxson Stenseth, Draven O'Neill; love of his life, Jane Trinidad; best friends, "Captain" Joe Steiner, Eric Sturgis, Pete Cuccia, Jose Garcia, Jim Gavin, Ron Passehl, Michael "Mikey" Serra; other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The family is planning their own celebration of Jay's life.  The celebration will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018, 5:00pm, at Apostolic Faith Church, 3045 Airline Road, Mount Pleasant.
