Racine, WI – Jayden Malik Cronin was born on July 19, 2004, to Jamal Cronin and Monika Driver in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Jayden was currently receiving his education at Turning Point Academy as a senior and previously was employed at Culvers in Racine. WI. He accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age and was united with New Omega Baptist Church.
Jayden was a kind hearted, loving, and generous soul to so many wonderful people across the ethnic, gender and racial divides. He was a member of the Drexel Ave Cub Scouts. As a child he attended PCOC and Red Apple Elementary School, where he learned to play the violin and was known for being the cup stacking champ. He also attended McKinley Middle School and Washington Park High School. Jayden enjoyed playing basketball for Optimist and YMCA, football for Gladiators, Old Timers and Racine Rampage. He loved cracking jokes, rapping, shopping, taking family vacations, swimming, cooking, and definitely eating. Jayden just loved helping others. The most important thing Jayden enjoyed was spending time with his family and friends.
Jayden Malik Cronin departed this life on Friday, September 3, 2021. He was preceded in death by his Great-Grandparents: Clytee Driver, J.B. Marzette, Lizzie and James Herrington, Maurice Cronin and Eleanor Cronin-Acheson, Marjorie Sain and Joe Sain Jr. Aunts: Lizzie Barry, Belinda Marzette, and Jackie Herrington. Uncles: James and Lloyd Herrington, and Samuel Cozart. Cousin: Deshawn Honeycutt and friend Rashad Dent.
Jayden leaves to cherish his memories: Mother Monika Driver and (Father) Jamal Cronin. Grandparents: Evelyn Driver, Samuel (Lisa) Driver, Jon Cronin (Papi) and Belinda Jo Sain Cronin (Nana). Sisters: Jayla (His Twin) and Dariyah. Brothers: Keondae, Kealon, Isaiah, and Knowledge. Niece: Ka'Nyla and Nephews: Kamarion and Demetrice. Aunts: Cassandra (Kenneth) McClain of Louisville, KY, Catrice (Demetrius) Gray of Buckeye, AZ, Pavielle Driver of Chicago, IL, Lorrie Bennett of Prosper, TX, and Ghia Davis of Racine, WI. Uncles: Fredrick and Michael Herrington, Samuel Driver Jr., of Racine, WI, Jaime (Kyami) Cronin of Franklin, WI. God brothers: Mario Johnson, Tye Washington and God sister: Kemara Young. Special cousins: Cederick Gordon and Cortasia Perez. Special friends: Tyrese Whitnell, Damarion Turner, Lacrelle Clay, Tralon Jones, Tyrone Gister, Divittin Hoskins, Charles Coldtrain Jr., Marcelo Tirado, a host of friends from 1600, as well as great aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and many friends.
The Celebration of His Life will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 11:00am in the chapel of Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, 4600 County Line Rd., Racine, WI. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 10:00am until the time of service.
