In 2 Corinthians 5:8 it says, “We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” To the Boutwell, Sister Shirley Oliver, and the Goodwin families , Sister Jean Boutwell demonstrated a faithful love of God, her family, and mankind, and made preparation to be with the Lord while journeying on this side. We uplift you in prayer and encourage you to remember that even in our sorrow that the God we serve is a God of hope. God is abundant and strong even in our weakness. May God grant you peace!

Our thoughts, prayers, and love go out to the family of Sis. Jean Boutwell. Sis. Boutwell was such a joy to be around and I feel honored to have known her. I loved to hear her sing and direct the chorus in Racine and when they sang you could tell she truly knew what she was doing. Her tenor voice was unbelievable!!! She was also one of the friendliest people I that I have ever known along with being one of the most stylish from head to toe! You could also tell as a Christian, that she let The Lord lead her in her spiritual life as well as just her daily walk. She will be greatly missed.

I know you cared. Even when I was grown up, you stopped by the pharmacy and said Hi. May you Rest In Peace Mrs.Boutwell. My condolences to your entire family as you truly will be missed.
