Jeffery A. Hicks, 42, died on Wednesday, July 19, 2006, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Racine on June 29, 1964, the son of Thomas L. and Beverly (nee: Cobb) Hicks. Jeffery was a 1982 graduate of J.I. Case High School. Surviving are his parents, Thomas L. and Beverly Hicks; 2 brothers, Bryan (Zendre) Hicks, Thomas "Daryl" Hicks; his sister, April Hicks; his children Marcus, Janee, Janell, and Konyae all of Racine. His nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive him. His maternal and paternal grandparents preceded Jeffery in death. Relatives and friends can meet with the family, in the funeral home, on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.. Private funeral and burial services will be held for Jeffery.
