Jennie Lynn Eberhardt, 60, passed away at All Saints Hospital Sunday, March 22, 2015 on her 40th wedding anniversay. She was born in Janesville on September 24, 1954, the daughter of Gordon and Gladys (Schoonover) Emmons. On March 22, 1975 she was married to Richard Allen Eberhardt in Janesville’s Trinity Lutheran Church.
Jennie was the most loving wife, amazing mother, and doting grandmother a family could ask for. Her greatest joy came from caring for her family, celebrating and creating fabulous feasts for her family and friends during the holidays. As a professional cosmetologist, she made her mark as the make-up artist to the stars. Her involvement and support in the local theaters will be missed. Jennie was named the American Porphyria Foundation’s Ambassador for 2006.Jennie also enjoyed shopping, being surrounded by her grandchildren, retail therapy, and everything that involved make-up and hairstyling.
Jennie is survived by her loving husband, Richard; their daughters, Liz Eberhardt and Kim Hutchinson; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Xena, Randy, Jenna, and Kevin; her mother Gladys (Gil) Fosheim; her sister, Kay (Dwayne) Hughes in Arizona; as well as many other relatives and close friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Emmons; many aunts and uncles; and her dear friends Joan, Keith, and Steve.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 6:00pm on Friday, March 27, 2015. Visitation with the family will be from 4:30pm until the time of the service. Private interment will take place at Milton Lawns Cemetery in Janesville. Please consider donations in memory of Jennie to American Porphyria Foundation, or the American Cancer Society
