Service Details

A Homegoing Service Celebrating Jennifer’s Life will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 4:00PM. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Sunday from 3:30PM until the time of service.

Jennifer Denise ( Bone) Ramsey, was born on November 21, 1965, in Racine, WI, to Johnny and Reatha (Martin) Ramsey.  Jennifer was a 1984 graduate of J.I. Case High School.  She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Shiloh Stronghold Church of God in Christ.  Years later, she moved to Meridian, MS, and then later to Oxford, MS, where she resided for many years.  Jennifer loved to cook.  One of her favorite jobs was being a head cook.  She also loved traveling, taking care of her plants and spending time with her family.

Jennifer leaves to cherish her precious memories her daughters:  Gena’ Ramsey, Oxford, MS; Jasmine Miller and Jada Andrews of Racine, WI; her son: Martivus Ivy; grandchildren:  Jaden and Maleigh Ivy; brother:  John Ramsey of Racine, WI; sisters:  Debra Martin, Geneva Campbell, Sarah Martin, Courtney Ramsey, all of Racine, WI, and Hiawatha Martin of Milwaukee, WI; special aunts:  Lelia Carrothers,  Frances Ramsey, Earnestine Ramsey; uncles:  L.C. (Dawn) Ramsey, Curtis Martin and Hubert (Terry) Martin;  special cousins: Anne Pope, Patricia Henderson and Darvin Martin; her God-Sister: Sherri Felt; sister-in-law, Marvie Martin.  She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents:  Johnny and Reatha Ramsey; her brothers: Earl Martin and Davis (David) Martin; sisters:  Janice Carothers and Johnnie Mae Martin; her paternal and maternal grandparents, several aunts, uncles and nieces.
