OMAHA, NE (formerly of Racine) – Jesse Griffin 60, passed away on February, 13, 2018 at his home in Omaha, NE.

Jesse was born in Racine, Wisconsin on June 28, 1957 to the late Artis and Hattie (nee:Milburn) Griffin. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Lakeuisha (nee: Griffin) (Deonte) Person; his grandchildren, Savon Williams, Dartaevon Smith, Desirae Person, Lamar Person; his siblings, Linda Griffin, Doris (Douglas) Ellison, Curtis Griffin, Jerry Griffin, Tina Griffin, Ricky Griffin; one uncle, Troy Byas; as well as Evelyn Griffin and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephew's other relatives and friends.  Jesse was preceded in death by his grandson, Everett Overstreet Jones, parents, Artis and Hattie (nee:Milburn) Griffin (Hattie passed away on February 11, 2018); one brother, Larry Griffin and one sister, Vivian Daniels.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 for a visitation from 10-11 a.m.  A service celebrating his life and Homegoing will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Lawrence L. Kirby.  Jesse and Hattie's interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery following the service at the funeral home.
