Mr. Jesse Lee was born on October 12, 1937.  He was the fourth of 13 Children born to Mr. Willie M. and Mrs. Pearlene Lee. As a young man, he relocated to Centralia, Illinois.

He would faithfully go back home at least 1 or 2 times a year to visit his mother and father, younger siblings, other relatives, and friends. He later relocated to Racine, WI, where he was employed at Bell City for many years as a Molder and retired from there. A few of his pleasures were working on cars, bowling, and riding his motorcycle.

He was preceded in death by his Parents: Mr. Willie M. and Pearlene Lee; Brothers: AJ Lee, Leroy Lee, Willie Lee, Augusta Lee, and Sammie Lee; Sisters: Florida Lee and Cherrylene Hill. He leaves to cherish in loving memory, Sisters: Lula Mae Tucker, Estella Lee of Ithaca, NY, Beulah Coleman of Chicago, IL. Climmie Easley of Markham, IL, and Pearlene Jones of Racine, WI; numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves to cherish in his loving memory Children: Yvonda Robinson, Felicia Griffin, DeAnna Lindsey, Jesse Terence Lee, Evance Lee, DaReaka DeLa Cruz, Carlos,  and Jasmine Lee, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to meet at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory on Friday, July 24, 2026, for a visitation from 10:00 am – 11:00 am.  A service celebrating his life and Homegoing will take place at 11:00 am with Bishop Lawrence L. Kirby officiating.  His interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
