Racine – Jessica Ann McCarthy, 34, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, September 4, 2012.  She was born in Racine on January 2, 1978, daughter of Gerald T. and Vicki J. (nee: Tryber) McCarthy.

Jessica graduated from Park High School in 1996.  She then received her nursing degree after attending University of Wisconsin – Parkside and Gateway Technical College.  Jessica was a loving soul who treasured her family and friends.  She enjoyed reading, being outdoors, and cooking for her loved ones.  Jessica will be dearly missed.

Jessica leaves to cherish her memory, her parents, Gerald and Vicki McCarthy of Racine; sisters, Angela (Antione) Duncan of Racine, Corry McCarthy of Racine; brother, Michael McCarthy of Racine; fiancé, Ronnel Nelson of Racine; step-son, R.J. Nelson; 5 nephews; one niece; one great-niece; other relatives and dear friends too numerous to mention.  Jessica is preceded in death by her grandparents.

A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, September 6, 2012, 7pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road, with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating.  Visitation will be from 4pm until the time of the service.  Memorials have been suggested to the McCarthy family.
