In keeping with her wishes, there was a private service with burial in Graceland Cemetery, Racine.
Joan Larsen, 88, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. She was born in Milwaukee on October 26, 1937, the daughter of the later David and Anne (nee: Hegy) Bieberstein.
Joan had been a longtime employee of the Boston Store. She was a graduate of Messmer High School, in Milwaukee.
Surviving are her sister, Annette Berenson, of Mesquite, NV, as well as other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Larsen on January 6, 1996.

Joan was such a nice neighbor. Very sweet woman. We’ve been neighbors since 2003. We always made sure to give her parking spot next to the door. We will miss seeing our lovely neighbor.
