~~ Joe Junior Stinson, 54, passed away in University Hospital-Madison, on Friday, April 25, 2014. He was born in Grenada, MS on December 23, 1959 the son of Joe Nathan and Mildred (Nee; Anderson) Stinson.
Joe had been employed by S.C. Johnson until his health forced his retirement. He enjoyed dancing and working on his car; but most of all, he loved living life to the fullest and being with his family and friends.
Joe is survived by his wife, Valerie (nee: Bunville) Stinson; their children, Master Powell, Lakeisha Booker, Joseph Menifield Stinson, and Daveetta Bunville, 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; mother Mildred Stinson; father, Joe Nathan Stinson; brother, Robert (Lolita) Stinson; grandmother, Earline Neal; aunts and uncles, Jean, Joyce, Ida May, Elona, Louise, Oprah, Ruth, Terry, Clem, William, and Grady; two favorite nephews, Joshua (Sarah) Stinson, Robert Stinson Jr., other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joe Junior was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Stinson, and sister, Karen Stinson.
His Homegoing Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, May 2nd at 12:00 Noon. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
