Joel Edward Smith, age 60, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2017 at Ascension-All Saints Hospital in Racine, Wisconsin.  Joel was born on January 24, 1957, in Hudson, Wisconsin to Guy Lee and Louis Marie (nee: Junkman) Smith.  Full of light and happiness, Joel, who never met a stranger, brought much joy to every person who touched his life. Everyone defines "quality of life" from their  own perspective. In "Joel's World" quality meant: greeting everyone that crossed his path. What a wonderful world this would be, if everyone could take this one thing from Joel's life and pass it forward.
