Racine – Joel S. Holt found peace on October 8th, 2015 at the age of 54. He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris E. Holt (1978); father, Sylvan W. Holt (2007); and sister, Barbara A. Nix (2010). He is remembered by his survivors: brother, Jerry (Mary) Holt of Social Circle, GA; sister, Jeanie (Rick) Doubenspeck of Topeka, KS; children, Kendall and Angie of Topeka, KS; Sarah of Hot Springs, AR; and grandchildren.

Joel was a steadfast and loyal employee of Cooper Power Industries for over twenty years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his close friends. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 3:00 – 4:00 pm with a memorial service being offered at 4:00 pm with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Military honors will follow. In accordance with Joel's wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Diabetes Association has been suggested.
