Racine – JoElla L. Waters, 70 passed away on Friday July 19th, 2019 at Kenosha Estates Rehab & Care Center. She was born in Maury City, Tennessee on July 30th, 1948, daughter of Katherine & Dennis Perry. She was a Racine resident for most of her life and graduated from Horlick High School. JoElla was a former employee of Western Printing, Philadelphia American Life Insurance Company & most recently Wheaton Franscian All Saints. JoElla was a devoted member of Wayman African Methodist Episcopal Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Lauren Waters, as well as a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Waters, Her mother and Father Katherine & Dennis Perry, her sister Dennie Mae Bolton and brothers Willie Perry, Leonard "Spur" Perry and Ralph Perry.

Homegoing services will be held at 7pm on Thursday, July 25th at Draeger-Lagendorf Funeral Home & Crematory, 4600 County Line Rd, Racine, WI 53403) with Rev. Lawrence Terry officiating. Visitation will start at 5pm. Memorials to the family have been suggested.
