John U. Braig, age 61 of Pleasant Prairie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at his home.

John was born in Madison, WI on March 25, 1959 the son of John G. and Colleen (nee: Newcomb) Braig.

He was a 1977 graduate of Tremper High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree from UW Parkside.

At seventeen, he earned his private pilot's license.   A member of St. Mary Catholic Church, he was employed as a computer consultant for many years.

He is survived by his mother, Colleen Braig; two sisters, Maureen (Mark) Simon and Mary Jo Braig; a nephew and a niece, Rileigh and Annelise Simon, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.

John was preceded in death by his father John G. Braig.

Service Details

A private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church with interment following in St. George Cemetery.
