John A. Eilers, 75, passed away unexpectedly, in the Ascension-All Saints Emergency Room on Sunday, December 3, 2017. John was born in Milwaukee on November 1, 1942, the son of the late Bernard and Vivienne (nee: Andersen) Eilers.

On August 4, 1967, in Christ the King Lutheran Church, he was united in marriage to the former Marion Jane Miller. John had been employed by S.C. Johnson and Son for over 38 years, until retiring. He was a graduate of Carthage College. John was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, here in Racine, Peace Lutheran Church, in Arbor Vitae, WI, the Johnson 20 Year Club, the J.M.B.A., and the Kiwanis Club of West Racine.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Marion, their son, James (Sandi) Eilers, of St. Germaine, grandson, Nolan; sister, Anne Marie (Melvin) Walker, of Cable, WI; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by their son, John, 1986.

A Memorial Service, celebrating John's life, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9 ^th , in Grace Lutheran Church, 3700 Washington Ave., with Rev. Brian Crane officiating. Visitation will be in the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

The family has suggested in lieu of flowers memorials be directed to Racine Lutheran High School, Grace Lutheran Church, or Peace Lutheran Church.
