John E. Moon, beloved father and brother, passed into eternal life November 25, 2014, at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-All Saints hospital Racine, Wisconsin surrounded by his loving family. John was born September 26, 1946 to Rex and Ruth (Margeson) Moon in Beloit, Wisconsin. John graduated from Hononegah High School class of 1965.  He married Diana L. Gerke,  April 8, 1967 at Central Christian Church, Beloit.  From that union they had three beautiful daughters, Donna (Tom) Marquis, Cristine (Mark) Culver and Sherry Moon.  He worked at Warner Electric Brake and Clutch, Ingersoll Machine and Metro Tool Company.  He also worked as a machinist in California and Florida before retiring due to his health.  John loved to hunt and fish with his brothers, Ron and William and loved the Green Bay Packers.

He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Suzanna Myers.  He is survived by his daughters, grandchildren  Andrew (Emily) Marquis, Matthew Taylor,  Scott Anglin, Tylor Paulson, Cassidy Womack and great-grandchildren Nicholas and Kayden and his Brothers Ron (Rose), Dale (Barb) and William (Kathy) and Brother- in-law Les Myers, nieces and nephews – David, Mike, Sabrina, Erik, Keri, Brian, Kevin, Stephanie and Jeff .

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Hospice for the care extended to John and the family.
