Obituary

MSG John T. Reiter, NG, Ret. entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 1, 2018. Survived by beloved daughter Carrie Lynn Schubring (Jay),  siblings Jane (Bob) Johnson, Col. Joseph (Corrine) Reiter, NG, Ret., and Jerry (Joyce) Reiter. Nieces and Nephews Allison (Jason), Kyle, Kevin (Erin), Christopher (Rachel), and Great-Nephew Lucas. Preceded in death by his parents Col. Warren (Phyllis) Reiter, NG, Ret and United States Army WWII veteran.

John served nearly 30 years in the Wisconsin Army National Guard, 121st Field Artillery Regiment, where he was the Motor Pool Chief and full time technician. MSG Reiter was member of the 32nd Division Red Arrow Club; and a proud member of the Military Order of St. Barbara. He was dedicated to his work serving his country and the State of Wisconsin.

He loved his family, friends, and what Colorado had to offer with the 19 years he was a resident: skiing, river rafting, elk hunting with friends and horseback riding with family. He recently returned to Wisconsin to be closer to his Carrie and Jay in October 2017.

He was always the Life of the Party.
