John Stewart

   RACINE – John Stewart, 71, passwed away at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-All Saints.

   He was born on January 17, 1944, to the late William and Christine Stewart. John moved to Gary, IN as a young child. John accepted Christ at an early age.

   He served in U.S. Army after graduating from high school in Gary,IN. After serving many years in United States Army he made his home in Wisconsin. He retired from A.O. Smith/Tower Automotive after many years of employment.

   John loved joking around, and making everyone laugh. He loved watching sports. Although talking out of the side of his mouth sometimes he loved his family.  He made his transition on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 9:25p. He will be missed by family and friends.

   He is survived by 2 daughters, Jarvette Stewart of McDonough GA, Stephanie Stewart of Milwaukee WI; 3 sisters, Geneva and Georgia of Racine, WI, Barbara of Dime Box TX; 1 brother, Paul of Las Vegas NV; his grandchildren, Jerron (Monica) Biddings of Calumet Park, IL JaCarra Boyer of McDonough GA; his great granddaughter, Mya Biddings and a host of nieces and nephews cousins and friends; especially, his special friend, Kathy Heisler. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Christine Stewart; sister, Evelyn Brown; brother, William Stewart; niece, Sheila Brown and nephew, Anthony Brown.

      Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. for the celebration of John’s life and Homegoing.  There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10-11 a.m.
