Jon P. Lanouette, 41, died at his residence under hospice care on Saturday, May 22, 2010, after a long but courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Racine on March 10, 1969, the son of Robert and Lynn (nee: Henrickson) Lanouette. He attended St. Lucy School and graduated from Walden High School in 1987.

He worked for the Red Cross before his illness. Jon enjoyed movies and the many hours he spent on the golf course accompanied by his friends.

He is survived by his sons, Joshua and Mitchell; his mother, Lynn Lanouette and brother, Michael Lanouette all of Racine. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lanouette on August 5, 2002.

Family and friends are invited to meet in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. for the celebration of Jon's life and funeral. There will be a visitation in the funeral home on Saturday from 10-11:30 a.m. A private interment will take place by his father, Robert at West Lawn Memorial Park.
