Service Details
Services for Joshua will be held at Word of Faith Family Church, 1619 Newman Road, Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. There will be a visitation for family and friends from 3:00 P.M. until 4:45 P.M. Burial will be private.
Today, we officially announce the heavenly transfer of our beautiful son (and brother) Joshua Rubin Douglas Jackson. We were graced with his presence from December 15, 1994 to December 23, 2025.
Joshua was a gentle, humble, and kind soul who positively impacted the lives of many people who were fortunate enough to have an encounter with him. Joshua always put God first and was careful to treat others with love and grace.
We know that God didn’t take Joshua, but He certainly received him into His presence. We are extremely grateful to God for allowing us to love on Joshua in this lifetime. His creative mindset filled many days and nights with songs, laughter, and joy.
Joshua was always mindful of being ready to meet the Lord. We know that Joshua is in the best care possible, and we find great peace in that fact.
Joshua was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, and loyal friend.

I had the opportunity to meet Joshua at church. Even though I only knew him for a short time, he really impacted my life. It feels like I have known him all of my life. I’m so very happy that Joshua knew The Lord and was a TRUE EXAMPLE of a Strong Man Of God. I look forward to the day when I will see him again in Heaven. Josh and I worked together at Amazon. He was always such a light, and we often talked about God. I left Amazon due to a complication in my pregnancy at the time, and Josh was one of the people who reached out to me afterwards.
He loved people the way God called us to. He touched many lives, planted many seeds, and his legacy will reign on. His joy lit up a room. His laugh was contagious and you couldn’t help but smile when you were around him. I’m still in shock learning what happened to him. But I know heaven greeted him with arms wide open.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and close friends.

I had the gracious blessing to attend the same High School as Josh. He was a blessing to be around. Very friendly, humble, and talented. His kindness was radiant towards anyone willing to have a conversation with him. It was fun to perform in musicals and just listen to his talent all the more. Going to miss you brother, celebrate joyfully in heaven for me.
