Obituary

Racine – Judith Ann Neu, 73, received the promise of eternal life on Monday, January 4, 2016.  She was born in Racine on November 14, 1942, daughter of Almondo and Delores (nee: Steibel) Ricchio.

Judy graduated from St. Catherine's High School in 1960.  She worked with newborns as a CNA for St. Mary's Hospital following high school.  She was the owner of Lee's Deli from 1973 until 1986.  Judy then worked in Medical Billing at WFH-All Saints until her retirement in 2005.

Judy loved reading Steven King and Dean Koontz books.  She also was a master of crossword puzzles, a Facebook fanatic, and loved Elvis.  Judy loved her TV and enjoyed watching anything on MeTV, HGTV, or any cooking shows that were airing.  She was a member of the Holy Name Church Choir for many years. Above all, she treasured her entire family and cherished the time spent with all of them.  Judy will be dearly missed.

Judy leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Janet (Napoleon Hardy) Neu, Barbara (Kelly) O'Haver, Diane (Robert Stussy) Neu, all of Racine; grandchildren, Steve (Patti) Wojciechowski, Kody (Teri) O'Haver, Ashley (Aaron Harris) Wojciechowski, Kacy O'Haver; great-grandchildren, Kamden O'Haver, Levi Wojciechowski, Jayden Harris; mother, Delores Ricchio; siblings, Sherry (Sam Jilek) Nielsen of Raymond, Germaine (Ronnie) Jones, Dottie Ricchio-Dirksen of Mount Pleasant, Peggy Ricchio-Chevaleau of Libertyville, IL, Joe (Sharon) Ricchio of Racine, Larry (Denise) Ricchio of Grand Rapids, MI; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends too numerous to mention.

Judy is preceded in death by her father, Almondo Ricchio; sister, Melanie Lynn; and brother-in-law, Garth Dirksen.

A celebration of Judy's life will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016, 1:00pm, at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory, 4600 County Line Road, with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating.  Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service.

The family would like to extend a "Thank You" to Dr. Joel Niebuhr, the staff at WFH-All Saints, and the staff at Post Acute Medical Specialty Hospital for the care given to Judy during this difficult time.
