Judith Marie Ryan (nee: Hegeman), age 86, passed away at Ascension All Saints Hospital on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

Judy was born in Racine on October 2, 1938 to the late Henry and LaVerne (nee: Welfel) Hegeman. She attended Horlick High School. On May 11, 1957, Judy was united in marriage with Thomas Ryan, who preceded her in death on November 13, 2023. She was employed for many years as a retail associate/cashier. Among her interests, Judy was an avid fan of all the Wisconsin teams, especially the Green Bay Packers, attending many of their games over the years; she enjoyed fishing and deer hunting, going up north to Gordon, WI, and trying her luck at the casino; cherished going to lunch with the Hegeman family members every 2 ^nd Wednesday of the month; and was a card "shark" especially when it came to playing Skipbo.

Surviving are her sons, Rodney and Richard (Donna Bueno); grandchildren, Shana, Jeremy, Robert, Cassandra and Cayla; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Gail Black; nephews, Scott and Jason; niece, Susan; special friend, Cookie; other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, Tom, and her parents, Henry and LaVerne, Judy was preceded in death by her son, Randall "Randy"; in laws, Ralph and Dagny Ryan; granddaughters, Rebecca and Rachel; brothers, Henry "Dough Boy" and Danny; and sister, Ginger.

Service Details

The Service celebrating Judy's life will be held in Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 5:00PM. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:00PM until the time of service. Private family interment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, where Judy and Tom will be together again.
