Julia Hedding

Sep 7, 1958 – Aug 26, 2010

Racine – Julia M. “Missie” Hedding, 51, passed away at WFH All Saints Hospital on Thursday, August 26, 2010. Julia was born in Tomah on September 7, 1958, the daughter of Walter and Margaret (Peggy) Hedding. 

Julia graduated from Washington Park High School in 1976. She took great pleasure in sewing, crocheting, and other crafts; and enjoyed cooking, collecting angels, Steven King novels, and caring for her dogs. She was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church. 

She is survived by her father, Walter Hedding; her brothers and sisters, Farrell (Darlene) Hedding, Beverly Hedding, William Hedding all of Racine, and Roberta (Mark) Albright of Oak Harbor, Washington; nieces and nephews, Farrell Hedding, Shannon (Eric) Sullivan, Teri Hedding all of Racine; Mark Jay Albright, and Sarah Albright of Oak Harbor, Washington; and her grand-niece, Kyla Sullivan of Racine. She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Hedding; and her sisters, Karla Hedding and Nancy Kay Hedding. 

Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 with Rev. Walter Hermanns officiating. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Committal services will be held at the Village of Wyeville Cemetery at 2:30 pm on Wednesday September 1, 2010. Memorials to Holy Communion Church Food Pantry have been suggested. 

Our thanks and appreciation goes to the ICU staff at WFH All Saints Hospital for their compassion, dedication, and kindness shown to Julie and her family.
