Julius Thomas Winston, age 76, passed away on January 25, 2023, in Ft. Wayne, IN at home with his daughter at his side. Julius was born on August 17, 1946, in Alamo, TN, a son of the late William R. and Annette (nee: Wormack) Winston. Julius was employed with JI Case for twenty years before retiring. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing pool, cards, fishing, hunting, spending time with family and friends, and most of all playing the lottery. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. Loving father of Rosalind (Arthur) McCall of Ft Wayne, IN and Andrenetta Nunn of Racine, WI; Very best friend of Brenda Harris: Cherished grandfather of LaToya Winston, Artrell McCall, Tyrann Mosley, Tashi Hill, Tatrianna Hill, and the late Uniqua Hill; Special great grandfather of Jaion, Jayda, Christopher, ZyAire, Dasiyah, Nakye, Naieem, Summer, Son'Jai, and Jayceeyon; Dear brother of Lillian Dickerson of Alamo, TN, Margaret Winston of Toledo, OH, the late Louise Watson, and a best friend, Richard Harris; also survived by his special friends, Robert "Bootsie" Hayes, Gary Martin, Quincy Cannon, Jesse Reed, Jimmy Smith, and Willie Riley, and a host of other relatives and friends. A Homegoing visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 O'Clock Noon at the funeral Home. Interment will take place on Monday, February 6, 2023, at Graceland Cemetery, Racine, WI
