Karole Annjanette Gomaz, 59, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at her home on May 6, 2025, surrounded by friends and family.
Karole was born on February 22, 1966, in Kenosha to Daniel Gomaz Sr. and Dorothy DeTaeye (née Harrison). She grew up in Sturtevant, attended Case High School, and graduated from Bradford High School in 1984. Karole dedicated much of her life to her career in Information Technology and was a valued employee at Trail King. She earned an Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems: Programmer/Analyst from Gateway Technical College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. She was also a proud member of the Moose Lodge 875 in Mitchell, South Dakota. Karole loved traveling, cooking, and sewing, and was known for her generous spirit and kind heart. Her warmth, humor, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be deeply missed.
Karole's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her loving daughters: Jessica (Daniel) Britson, Jaime (Brian) Cumbridge, Sari (Robert) Ham, and Paige (Eric) Olley. She was a devoted grandmother to Mallory and Elizabeth Britson; Zackary, Cloey, and Matthew Wojciechowski; Brooke Cumbridge; Kolton Pirk; Hannah Trimberger; and Natalie, Hadley, Benjamin, and Camden Olley. She is also survived by her stepmother Nancy Gomaz of Kansas; siblings Scott Gomaz and Brandy (Angelo) Catalanotto, both of Tennessee and her cherished best friend, Sheri Pauls, whose friendship was a constant source of joy and strength. She was preceded in death by her beloved brother Daniel Gomaz Jr., her father Daniel Gomaz Sr., and her mother Dorothy DeTaeye.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home, beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. All who knew and loved Karole are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.
