Racine – Kathy Krupp, 56, passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center on Friday, November 4, 2005 following a brave battle with breast cancer. She was born in Racine on December 23, 1948, daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (nee: Mateyka) Alberts. On July 20, 1968 she was united in holy matrimony to Arnold R. Prior to that she owned and operated "Reflections on the Lake" hair salon for 12 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church; and the Red Hat Society. She was always fun and full of life. Even while fighting for her life she remained vibrant, upbeat, and kind. Kathy's family and friends were very dear and most important to her. She will be dearly missed by her devoted husband, Arnie; their beloved children, Brett (Connie) Krupp, and Heather Krupp; her adored grandchildren, Alex and Christopher; her sister, Joyce (Wayne) Lanouette; mother-in-law Doris Sanders, sister-in-law Patti Herman, many brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends, especially her lifelong friends Mary Coppernoll, Linda Laudonio, and Donna Delvin. She was also preceded in death by her dear "Aunt" Florence Lorenzini. Kathy's funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ronald O. Crewe officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery on Hwy 32. All are invited to visit with the family in the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5 – 8 p.m., or in the church on Thursday from 9:15 – 9:45 a.m. Memorials to the American Cancer Society or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation have been suggested. The Krupp family expresses their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the staff at Froedtert Hospital, above all, Dr. Janet R. Hosenpud, Jill and Julie, for all of their supporting care for Kathy and her entire family.
