Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Katrina Denise Richardson, born June 24, 1987, in Madison, Wisconsin. Katrina peacefully departed this life on April 10, 2024. Katrina is survived by her loving parents, Lisa and Willie Hamilton and four cherished children: Rylee, Jazzelle, Cameron, and Donte. Katrina will be deeply missed by her siblings Alexandria Hamilton, Jesse Hamilton, and Sheena Hamilton, as well as her grandparents Dennis and Jean Peterson of Blue River, WI, and Cheryl Bauer of Madison, WI.

In loving memory, Katrina is preceded in death by her beloved father, Deon Richardson, baby girl, Gabriella Nicole; grandmother, Denise Richardson; grandfather, Karl Bauer; brother, Willie (Boo) Hamilton; and great aunt, Debra Rice.

In addition to her immediate family, Katrina leaves behind aunts and uncles: Carl McClarn, Tyrone McClarn, Eric Peterson, Kristi (Jason) Meitzner, Tony (Mary) Hamilton, Sara (John) Clay, and Wendy (Charles) Williams. Katrina is also survived by nephews CJ and Lovell, godmother Kimberly Harper, and numerous cousins and friends that will forever hold her memory dear.

Katrina found her greatest joy in the company of her children; they meant the world to her. She possessed a beautiful voice, finding joy in singing both in the studio and at Pavle's karaoke nights with friends. Katrina loved her Mexican cuisine and a cold can of mountain Dew. Her all-time favorite artist was Eminen and she dreamed of seeing him in concert one day.

Katrina's memory will forever be treasured by her family and friends, as she leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness. May she rest in eternal peace.
