~~     Keith D. Haigh, 69, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Racine on May 14, 1944, the son of the late Oscar and Germaine (nee: Barcome) Haigh, and was a lifetime resident of the area. Keith had been a longtime employee of Meeter's Kraut (Stokely USA) and Sole Proprietor of Haigh's Quality Service. He was an accomplished fisherman and enjoyed the time he spent in the outdoors. Surviving are his children, Jeffrey (Susan) Haigh, Kevin (Sarah) Haigh, all of Sturtevant, and Dawn (Ray Petz) Nurmi, of Racine; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Richard (Rosemary) Haigh, of Marshfield, 3 sisters, Sheila (Robin) Larrabee, Bonnie (Don) Huggins, all of Racine, and Judie Kovars, of Richland Center; brother-in-law, Keith Stephan, of Sturtevant; and close family friend, Sharon Holt. His nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive him. In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his wife Janet Haigh, brother Oscar Haigh, and sisters, Rosann Stephan, and Lavern Bunck. His funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, January 17th, at 12 o'clock Noon, with Rev. Mark R. Jones officiating. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Friday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park.
