Obituary

RACINE – Keith E. Musolf, 67, passed away after a long illness on February 7, 2023 at Froedtert South in Pleasant Prairie. The family would like to thank the Transplant Center team at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee for the exceptional care he received over the last two years.

He was born in Hayfield, Minnesota on September 11, 1955, the son of Gerald and Velda (nee Johnson) Musolf, Sr.  He attended schools in Claremont and Kasson, Minnesota.  Keith married Lynn Thoburn in Mount Pleasant on February 22, 1986.

He had an amazing gift and ability to diagnose automobile trouble.

Wherever he went or traveled, he never met a stranger.  He loved being in the company of his many friends and family, including beloved dogs, Bruno and Buddy and cat, Chloe.

In addition to his loving wife Lynn, he is survived by his daughters, Mallory (Kevin Berger) Musolf of Madison and Melinda (Bobby McLaughlin) Dreifke of South Carolina; his mother, Velda Musolf of Mantorville, MN; his sister and brothers, Veronica (Ernie) Kirkpatrick of Dexter, MN, Kim Musolf of Mantorville and Robin (Suzanne) Musolf of Kasson, MN; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Mary Thoburn, II of Raleigh, NC, his brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Frank (April) Thoburn, III of Andover, MN, Chris Thoburn of Kill Devil Hills, NC and Lisa (Larry) Jassin of Marietta, GA; as well as many dear friends, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.   Keith was preceded in death by his father Gerald Musolf Sr. and brothers, Gerald Musolf, Jr. and Bryan Musolf.
