Racine – Kelvin D. Adkisson, age 42, passed away on Thursday evening, September 24, 2015 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.

Kelvin was born in Racine on January 2, 1973 to Oscar and Audrey (nee: Luter) Adkisson. He was a Washington Park High School "Class of 1991" graduate and had been employed by Walmart in the optical department.

Kelvin was a proud member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Some of his interests included music, video games, watching television and, above all, loved hanging out with his four older brothers.

Surviving are his broken-hearted parents, Oscar and Audrey Adkisson; four devoted brothers, Oscar Adkisson, Willard (Deborah) Adkisson, Byron (Regina) Adkisson and Alfred (Lisa) Adkisson; grandmother, Hestella (nee: Williams) Adkisson; aunts & uncles, Earl (Learline) Adkisson, Mabel (Billy) Kelly, Mary (Gino) Brown, Angeline (Robert) Moore, Lula Williamson, Earl Taylor, Bonnie Luter, Mary Lucille Harris, Mattie Luter and Skye Luter; special friend, Denyce Stich; and a host of nieces, nephews; great-nieces & nephews; other relatives and friends.

Kelvin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Odartha and Mary Lee (nee: Wilson) Luter; Ethridge Adkisson; and by aunts & uncles, Larry Williamson, Mattie Taylor, Hester Luter, Jesse Harris, Willie Luter and Don Luter.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 in St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1123 Center Street, at 11: 00 am with Bishop Lawrence L. Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Viewing will be in the church on Thursday from 10:00 – 11:00 am.
