Obituary

~~Kevin M. Cushenberry, 45, was called home on June 1, 2015 at his residence.  He was born on July 11, 1969 in Racine, WI to MonaLisa Marske (nee: Price) and James Cushenberry. Kevin recognized his love for a higher power and spirituality leading him to turn his life to God; He then joined Jesus Alive Ministries. It was there that he enjoyed worship, fellowship and praising the Lord. He went on to live a fulfilling life with various hobbies which included his love for grilling. He would frequently invite family and friends to barbecues.  Kevin had an infectious smile that warmed many hearts. His sense of humor always kept everyone laughing and his laugh would fill the room. Kevin was a loving husband, father and friend. Kevin leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Kathleen "Trina"(nee: Lyon) Cushenberry; his parents, MonaLisa (Robert) Marske and James (Mattie) Cushenberry; his children, whom he loved unconditionally, Justine, Jocelyn and Anthony Fair; his step-children, whom he loved and raised as his own, Patricia, Brandon, Hayllie, Mia and Tia Stindle; his grandchildren, Damarius, Chris Jr., Janea and Althena; his sisters, Kendall "Nikki" , Tina (Troy) May and Yonda Tompson, His brother-in law, Jonah Holub; his grandmother, Geraldine Price; his father and mother-in-law, Douglas and Mary Overstreet; He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Janea; grandparents, Lawrence Price, Jessie "paw paw" and Nellie Bennet; his step-father, Thomas Robinson, Sr. and his brother in law, Willie Clark. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kevin's hospice nurse, Amber, with Hartland Hospice of Kenosha. She helped to make Kevin's journey as comfortable as possible.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, June 5,2015 at Christian Faith Fellowship Church, 3303 Nicholsen Rd, Franksville, WI at 11:00am.  Visitation will he in the church from 10am until the time of service. Interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park.  Pastor Willie Scott will be officiating.
