Service Details

Per Kevin’s wishes, a service will not take place.

   RACINE – Mr. Kevin R. Plocinski, 67, passed away at his residence on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

   Kevin was born in Racine on August 7, 1958. He attended Washington Park High School.

   Kevin served our nation with the US Navy and was stationed at NAS Cecil Field in Jacksonville, FL from November 1975 until November 1979, discharging as a Petty Officer, 3rd Class.

   He married Ruth Obry in 1977.

   Kevin and Ruth moved to Independence, Missouri in 1983 where Kevin was in Building Maintenance and Animal Control for the City of Independence. They returned to Racine in 1989. He then worked at Piggly Wiggly on Spring as a 3rd shift stocker.

   Kevin will be dearly missed by his wife Ruth; his three sons Jon (Jennifer), Andrew of Racine, WI and Matthew (Kelsie) of Twin Lakes, WI; his grandchildren, Zoey Plocinski, Lucille Plocinski and Harrison Plocinski; and his sister, Vickie Stachow. He will also be missed by many friends, nieces, and nephews.

   Kevin was preceded in death by his mother Alice (Grabher) Kilman; his brothers, Stephen and Greg Plocinski, and his sister, Janet Spoon.

   Per Kevin’s wishes, a service will not take place.

   The Plocinski family extends a special heartfelt thank you to Hospice Alliance for their kind and compassionate care of Kevin.
