Wayzata, MN (formerly of Racine) – Kris Jensen, age 62, passed away unexpectedly on May 2, 2013. She was born in Racine on December 5, 1950 to Helen (nee: Sorensen) and John Jensen. Kris worked in many places in the Printing Industry including Western Publishing in Racine, Menomonee Falls, New York, Connecticut, Nevada, Illinois and at Park Printing in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Kris enjoyed traveling and made many trips with her daughter, Sara. Together they saw most of the United States and traveled to France, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Egypt, Morocco, Brazil and Ecuador. Her favorite trip was a safari in Kenya in 2011.

She is survived by her daughter Sara, of Minneapolis; her sister Marge (nee: Jensen) Orth; brother John (Sharon) Jensen; niece Stephanie (Bill) Folk; grandnephew Elias Folk and grandniece Emmelia Folk, all of Racine; as well as many other relatives and friends in both Minneapolis and Racine.

A service in celebration of Kris' life will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 4:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Warren D. Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Health Care Network in Racine.
