Kyle Felton

Dec 5, 1985 – Jun 26, 2016

Racine – Kyle Scott Felton, age 30, passed away at Froedtert Hospital on Sunday, June 26, 2016 after injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Kyle was born in Racine on December 5, 1985 to Scott and Renee (nee: Heldt) Felton. He graduated from JI Case High School in 2004. In Jamaica, on February 11, 2016, he was united in marriage with Vanessa Rae (nee: Hackman), surrounded with the love and presence of their parents. Kyle was employed as the shop manager at Interstate Erecting in Oak Creek.

Kyle never had time to sit down as he was always on the go. Some of his interests included hot rods, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, guns, motorcycles (having built his own), his beloved 1979 Ford truck and, above all, loved spending time with Vanessa. He was an extremely talented / self-taught mechanic who could fix just about anything. With an infectious personality, Kyle’s presence would undoubtedly light up a room. He was always having fun and lived life to the fullest. As a very giving person, even in death – he gave of his kidneys, pancreas and liver to save the lives of others in need through the organ transplant program.

Surviving are his wife, Vanessa; parents, Renee & Scott Felton; sisters, Lindsay (Jason) Zurawski and Meghan (Mitch) Cassity; grandmothers, Evelyn Heldt and Lucille Felton; Vanessa’s parents, Nicole & Dale Hackman; aunts and uncles, Roy (Deb) Heldt, Glen (Julie) Heldt, Steve Heldt, Dennis (Mary) Felton, Diane Langdon, Mike (Nancy) Felton and Sue (Jim) Pekar; sister-in-law, Marissa (Ricky) Mendez; brother-in-law, Josh (Sarah Fleury) Hackman; nieces & nephews, Landon, Owen, Kailey, Cristian and Ariyana; and many other relatives, cousins and friends – way too numerous to mention all by name.

Kyle was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Arthur “Dick” Heldt and Arnold Felton; aunt, Kim Heldt; uncle, Mike Landon; and cousin, Douglas Majhenich.

Funeral services will be held in the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Testimonials

October 22, 2015

My family and I would like to thank you and your staff for making our father\’s funeral a beautiful celebration of his life. So many people commented that it was the best funeral they had ever attended! We can\’t say enough about Mark Langendorf\’s professionalism, his attention to detail, and ensuring that my father\’s funeral went smoothly from start to finish. After the funeral, he was always available for any questions and concerns my mother had. He handled all post-funeral details. Our dad would be very happy to know it went so well.Thank you so much, Mark.
