Kenosha – Larry Earl Gitzlaff, 67, received the promise of eternal life in his home on Wednesday, April 27, 2016.  Larry was born in Kenosha on January 25, 1949, son of the late Lester and Hazel (Scheckler) Gitzlaff.

A farmer's life is one of absolute dedication.  Larry was a farmer through and through.  He devoted his life to his family and his farm.  Larry adored his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  He was loved tremendously and will be dearly missed.

Larry leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Shannon Gitzlaff, Tammy (Bill Boss) Gitzlaff, Paul (Dez) Gitzlaff, Holly (Mark) Barrett; grandchildren, Amanda, Katie (Mikey), Ashili (Marlon), Tommy, Lucas; great-grandchildren, Johnny, David, Christian, Liam;  his brothers and sisters, other relatives, and many friends to numerous to mention.

In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gitzlaff; and brother, David.

A small church service will be held at 12:30 Monday May 23, 2016 at Journey Church.   Interment will follow in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park-Kenosha.
