Racine, WI – Latoya Michelle (Nee: Lewis) Brantley, age 35, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 20, 2020.  She was born in West Memphis, Arkansas on September 16, 1984 to Charlene Lewis and Tyrone Brown.

Latoya received her GED and a Criminal Justice degree in Illinois.  She was employed as a Residential Caregiver at Excel Adult Family Homes.  Latoya had a passion for helping people, even if it was a place to stay for the night or an encouraging word.  Latoya LOVED cooking holiday dinners for everyone, especially her family.  She had a love for a variety of music including: rap, gospel, old school and slow jams.  She also loved her on-line shopping for wigs.

Latoya leaves to cherish precious memories: Her husband, Brandon Brantley, four children;  Kenasia, Nikerra, Demetris "Juiceman" Lewis and Braydon Brantley of Racine, WI; mother, Charlene Lewis and stepfather, Richard Black of Rantoul, IL; father, Tyrone Brown of Michigan City, MI; brother, Orlando Lewis of Racine, WI; Godmother, Patricia McGee; Godchildren; Jacob, Janaijah, Javion, Lelia and Hailie all of Racine, WI; special friends, Zequanda Cornelious, Melissa Ross and Shana Wooden and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Latoya was proceeded in death by her grandmother, Ms. Gertrude Gordan.

Latoya will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services for Latoya will be live streamed from Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home on Friday, May 8, 2020 at 11:00am. Only the IMMEDIATE FAMILY will be present at the funeral home.
