~~     Laudellia Atterberry, 84, was called Home by her Loving Savior on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. She was born in Okalona, MS on June 16, 1930, the daughter of the late Willie and Mary (nee: Gates) Hamilton. She owned and operated her own beauty salon for many years until her retirement. She was a long time member of the Zoe Outreach Ministries until moving to California 10 years ago. Surviving are her children, Esker Atterberry, Willie (Flora Mae) Atterberry, all of Racine, Theresa (Norman) Golden, of Hawthorne, CA, and Linda (Darrell) Bullock; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren; 1 brother; 7 sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son James Clayton Atterberry, great-grandson, Amir Mackey, and brothers, Andy and Willie Hamilton. Her Homegoing Service is being scheduled for Friday, May 8th, at Grace Church, 3626 Hwy. 31, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Melvin Hargrove officiating. Visitation will be in the church on Friday, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Entombmentl will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park.
