Lee C. Lundberg, 82, passed away, unexpectedly, at his residence on Friday, March 10, 2017. He was born in Chicago, IL on January 10, 1935 the son of the late Charles and Lucille (Nee: Daniels) Lundberg.

The family moved to Racine when Lee was a young boy. He graduated from Washington Park High School. Shortly after graduation he found employment with S.C. Johnson and Son and retired after 42 years of service.  Lee was a member of the Johnson 40 Year Club and the J.M.B.A. (his second home). He was an avid gardener and landscaper and took tremendous pride in his yard. Lee loved his trips to "the cabin" in Boulder Junction, WI with his grand-dogs. Lee enjoyed visiting his good friends in Colorado. He cherished the road trips, with his daughter, all around the country where there was always a good story and a great deal of laughter. He loved the arts, especially live music and was an avid reader. He appreciated fine architecture, in particular those of Frank Lloyd Wright. His biggest joy was being outside with family and friends. Happily, he was fortunate enough to see his beloved Cubbies win the World Series.

Lee will be deeply missed by his children, Lisa (Barry Kent) Lundberg, of Racine, and Shane Lundberg, of Milwaukee; former wife and friend Diane Lundberg, of Racine;  sister, Linda Lydon, of, Geneva, Illinois,, his nieces and nephews, LeeAnne (Otis) Fuller, Fremont (Wendy) Hitchcock, all of Corte Madera, CA, Zachary Hitchcock,  of Honolulu, HI, Jean (John) Lydon-D'Anbrea, of Columbus, OH, Kim (Ugene) Viskovic of England. Other relatives and friends also survive him. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Hitchcock.

Service Details

His funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, March 16 ^th , at 6:00 p.m., with Pastor Kathleen Gloff officiating. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.  Following his wish cremation will take place.

The family has suggested memorials to the Alzheimer Association; he had a great interest in it since his mother suffered from the disease for over 16 years.
