Leo W. Baker

Dec 6, 1947 – Nov 10, 2006

Leo W. Baker Sr., 58, died at St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital, Milwaukee, on Friday, November 10th. He was born in Racine on Dec. 6, 1947, the son of Leo C. and Minnie L. (nee: Watts) Baker. Leo served his country with the U.S. Navy. He had been employed by Warren Industries. He was the vice-president of the Freedom Riders Motorcycle Club. Leo enjoyed watching all types of sporting events. Surviving are his children, Leo W. (Melody) Baker Jr., Marvell Robertson and Cara Robertson all of Racine; his grandchildren, Anthony Baker, Alicia Baker, Marvell Robertson Jr., Daejon Roberetson and Diamonique Robertson; his parents Leo C. and Minnie Baker; sister and brothers, Shirley Bedford, Dave (Debra) Baker, Jerry Baker, and Harvey Baker all of Racine. Leo is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. His Homecoming Service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 20th, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Buddy O. Vinson officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Service. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery.
