Racine – LeQuan Marquis Gandy, 29, passed away on May 9, 2012. He was born in Racine on October 22, 1982, the son of Byron Gandy and Janice Lois Miller. He was a Racine resident for most of his life.

In 1999 LeQuan moved to California, and later to Seattle, Washington where he operated his own commercial janitorial services company. He returned to Racine in 2012. LeQuan was a man of many interests who loved to laugh and have a good time. He was very giving and generous to others, and strove to make others happy.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Byron Gandy, and Janice L. Miller; brothers and sisters, LaQuinte Deshawn Miller, Tiffany Yarbrough, Antwan (Katherine) Gandy, Chanelle Gandy, Chantell Gandy, and Byron Gandy, Jr.; grandmother, Vera Miller; aunts and uncles, Vicky (Stephen) Coerper, Kenneth Wayne Miller, and Monica (Michael) Bailey; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David T. Miller, Aubrey Gandy, Jr. and Joyce Scott-Gandy; and his uncle, Ronnie L. Miller.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 with Rev. Willie Riley officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. In keeping with LeQuan's wishes, private burial will take place at Graceland cemetery.
