Les L. Jensen, 83, passed away, at his residence, on Thursday, November 19, 2020, surrounded by his family. He was born in Mitchell, South Dakota on February 2, 1937 the son of the late Carl and Luella (nee: Reiger) Jensen.

Les was a graduate of Washington Park High School.  He had been employed by the J.I. Case Co. for over 35 years, retiring in 1990. He then worked for CMB Erector until, finally, retiring for good. He was a lifetime member of the Racine Instinctive Bowman, the Old Timers Athletic Club, HOG, Abate of Wisconsin and Florida, and the NRA.

Les enjoyed spending times with family and friends having a cold beer or two whether it was at a bonfire, hanging out at the beach or on his patio. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting, both in Florida and his place in the north woods of Wisconsin, riding his Harley all over the country and collecting T-shirts and patches for his children and grandchildren. Les also loved to bowl and went to many state and national tournaments.

Les was the original "McGiver"; he loved to tinker and could fix most anything. He was always ready to help anyone who needed it. Les always spoke his mind and wasn't afraid to give you a good "wallop" if he thought you need it, but he also gave the best hugs and roughest kisses. He will be greatly missed.

Surviving are his children, Dawn Jurkiewicz, Daryl Jensen, Danyl (Cheryl) Jensen, Kay Jensen, Tammi Londre, Scott (Sue) Reede, Clayton (Laurie) Stockwell, Eric Stockwell; grandchildren, Kathryn (Josh) James, Marc Jurkiewicz, Paul Jensen, Daryl (Hannah) Jensen Jr., Justin (Rachel) Jensen, Michael (Timmie) Hoechrel, David (Amber) Kuhagen, Thomas (Erica) Kuhagen, Kelly (Kim) Waldron, Krystle (Gretchen) Villafane-Kost, Ricky Fergus, Ashley (Jordan) Mundy, April Londre, Haley Plewa, Jacob Plewa, Shiloh Stockwell, Sebastian Stockwell, and Faith Stockwell; 21 great-grandchildren; his nephew and close friend, Jerome Jensen. Les is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Carl and Luella, Les was preceded in death by his first wife, Deanna, and his second wife, Cheryl; son, Kurt Jensen; daughter, Kristy Jensen; great-grandson, Thomas Kuhagen Jr.; brother, Robert Jensen, and sister, Carol Jensen.

A memorial picnic will be held this summer. You will be able to view the service via live stream at beginning at 4:oo p.m.  on December 5th.
