L.G. Gill was born on May 22, 1936 in Meridian, MS.  He was employed by J.I Case Company, where he retired from in 2001.  He was a member of the UAW 180.  He enjoyed playing in the band, listening to blues and being with his friends.

L.G. departed this life on February 3, 2016.  He is survived by his daughter, Tristan (Cobey) Corbitt; grandchildren, Keshaun, Sariyah, Kimora Corbitt; sister, Clara (John) Malone, all of Racine, WI; brother, Paul Davis of Florida, as well as a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

L.G. was preceded in death by his mother, Luela Gill; sisters, Queen Watkin, Lester Nedthen; brother, Freemond Gill and his son, David Reese.

A celebration of LG's life will be held at Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home Chapel, 4600 County Line Rd, Racine, WI on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 11:00am. Visitation will be from 9:00am until the time of service. Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery.  Ple
