Lillian Mae Hadley (Vaughn), age 80, passed away on November 18, 2016. She was born in Lake Trail, MS on November 21, 1935, but spent her childhood in Waukegan, IL after suffering the loss of her mother at age six. After marrying Kenneth Hadley in 1955, she became a life long resident of Racine, WI until April 2016 when she and her husband moved to Robbinsdale, Minnesota.

Lillian was a devoted and loving wife, an inspiration and beacon of strength to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a second mom to many, and beloved by all who knew her. Church in Racine for over 50 years and served on the Missionary Board as a stewardess, along with teaching Sunday School and participating in various church outreach programs. She worked 35 years for the State of Wisconsin Unemployment Compensation Department, helping many to obtain benefits. An avid and proficient bowler in numerous local leagues, she traveled extensively to participate in tournaments across the state and nationally, collecting lots of trophies along the way. She also was an outstanding basketball player in her youth with a skill set worthy of the WNBA.

To cherish her memory, she leaves behind her husband of 62 years, Kenneth Hadley, Children; Ramona Hadley-Smith (Wendy), Pamela Hadley-Slayden, Renee Hadley, Keith Hadley and Kevin Hadley; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother-and sister- in- laws; nieces and nephews; other relatives. A special thanks to grandson Kristopher Hadley Sr, great-grandson Kristopher Hadley Jr, nieces Kimberly Prewitt and Marcey Miller, nephew Dr. Rev. Roy L.
