Linda Archibald, age 83, of Racine, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Ridgewood Care Center.

Born in Racine, Wisconsin, Linda was the beloved daughter of John and Edwina (Hegeman) Rybarik. She spent most of her life in Racine, though she also enjoyed living for several years in Nevada and Arizona. Linda was a proud graduate of St. Catherine's High School, Class of 1961.

Throughout her working years, Linda was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. She was employed by In-Sink-Erator and the Racine Country Club. During her time in the Southwest, she also worked at the Nugget Casino in Fallon, Nevada, and the Hon-Dah Casino on the White Mountain Apache Reservation in Arizona.

Linda will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Gloria (Frank) LaBoda, John Jr. (Kathy) Rybarik, and Janise McMahon; her nieces and nephews, Frank III (Julie), Amy (Joe), Peter, Kevin (Jan), Chris (Kim), Tammy, Jamie, and Ali; and her cherished great-nieces and great-nephews, Sydney, Molly, Grace, Lane, Nina, Andrew, Zack, Emma, Kali, and Riley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Carol McGilsky; her nephew, Tom LaBoda; and her former husband, Chuck Archibald.

In keeping with Linda's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. Those wishing to honor Linda's memory are invited to make a donation to St. Catherine's High School, H.O.P.E. Safehouse, or the Racine County Food Bank.

Linda's family is grateful to the staff at Ridgewood Care Center and Allay Hospice for the care, compassion, and support shown to her throughout her life and during her final days.
