Obituary

Racine, WI -Lisa Lynn Blankman, age 62, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 at home with her family by her side.

Lisa was born in Racine, Wisconsin on February 5, 1958 to John and Alice Blankman.

Lisa was a proud graduate of Washington Park High School. She started her professional career with the Belle Urban System (the city bus) as a driver and eventually retired as a dispatcher.

Lisa enjoyed watching television, traveling and socializing with her friends and family. However her favorite pass time was hanging out with and loving on her granddaughters.

Lisa leaves behind to cherish her memories, her only daughter Courtney Barry of Racine WI; her granddaughters Ja´Nay Barry and De´Ja Bradley and soon to make his arrival great-grandson Kingston all of Racine, WI; her siblings Alma (Cliff) Vacek of Racine, WI, Jeff Blankman of Eagle, WI, Richard (Kay) Blankman of Racine, WI and Clara (Peter) Walter of Muskego, WI; as well as her longtime friend of 42 years, Carol DeGroot whom she loved dearly and held very close to her heart.

Lisa was preceded in her death by both of her parents and her special friend Danny Ray Thomas.

A Memorial Service and Interment will me held on Monday, June 8, 2020 in West Lawn Memorial Park in Racine,WI. Family and friends are invited to meet at the cemetery gate at 11:00am to process to the grave site.

At the request of the cemetery, only 20 people will be allowed to be at the grave site at a time.  You may be required to wait at your car until others leave the site.  For the safety and security of our guests we also require those in attendance to bring and wear a face covering.  We thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation during this difficult time.

Service Details
