Lorraine Wintermuth Adams, 91, died and was reunited with her husband on Thursday, September 3, 2009. She was born in Milwaukee on September 13, 1917, the daughter of the late Edward and Johanna (nee: Jordan) Wintermuth. On November 20, 1937, she married Addison Adams at Incarnation Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on December 4, 1995. Surviving are her daughters, Bonnie (E. James) Ladwig of Racine, and Penny (Thomas) Bullock of Marquette, MI; 5 grandchildren, Laura (John) Dale of Egan, MN, Linda Hoover of Racine, James (Debra) Ladwig of Racine, Randal (Victoria) Bullock of Marquette, MI, and Melanie (Todd) Jastremski of Iron Mt., MI, and 11 great grandchildren. Her memorial service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, Labor Day, September 7, 2009 at noon with Rev. Scott Carson officiating. Relatives and friends can meet with the family on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers the family would suggest memorials to Hospice Alliance. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice Alliance and Hospice House for the compassionate care and concern given to Lorraine and her family.
